Bernie called in to book her annual furnace check responding to our $58 August furnace check special. We dispatched Cole, one of our furnace service technicians, to attend to the call. Upon arrival, Cole completed both the Visual Inspection check as well as the Operating Performance check and determined that the furnace had plenty of life remaining but was in need of some deep cleaning. Based on his findings, Cole presented several options to Bernie and she asked him to proceed with a comprehensive burner cabinet cleaning. Cole turned off the power and gas supply to the furnace and disassembled the burner components, removing them for cleaning. After thoroughly cleaning all components, Cole reassembled the furnace and restored power and gas, and ran the furnace through a series of tests making adjustments as necessary. Bernie's furnace is ready for winter and looks brand new again!
